Sebek is the only one relatively against the idea, though Lilia luckily manages to get him to lower his voice after his third speech about how you aren't good enough for his liege

Malleus is rather quiet through the whole evening, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with any of the points made

he disappears for a short while, and when he comes back he seems a little more confident

though, of course, he goes to you first

seeing him at Ramshackle in the middle of the night is a familiar and welcoming sight after all of the chaos of your week

and he's in a great mood!

"Child of man! I've come with news," he says. "I have heard of your predicament and have come up with a solution!"

you immediately sulk. "Oh, no. You know I think this whole thing is terrible, right?"

"Yes, Silver mentioned you might not like the idea of being bought and sold like a trinket. But worry not, I do not plan on paying for you in money,"

you pause, at a loss for words, and then tentatively continue. "You're not...?"

"Of course not. What a primitive idea, I was baffled to hear it myself. My proposal will be more traditional: a modest sum of treasure, and a generous amount of livestock and the finest crop Briar Valley can offer,"

This is a no brainer, he'll literally join in everything and ANYTHING you're doing, no matter how busy he is. He thinks everything your doing is fun and he won't wanna miss it for the world.

3. Cater Diamond

Cater LIVES for content and trends. Anything that promises or even slightly hints at entertainment (or is post-worthy) will have him fully engaged, he's listening as soon as you mention anything fun. He’ll even suggest to turn your antics into videos or memes.

4. Lilia Vanrouge

He literally tricks his friends for no absolute reason at all. ANYTHING that promises trouble for him, he's in. He adores chaos and he'll go wherever it goes and it's going in your direction.

Floyd loves unpredictability, so as long as your antics keep him entertained, he’s gonna be there. But once he gets bored, you’re on your own so you better keep it fun.

Essential tremor is a nervous system condition, also known as a neurological condition, that causes involuntary and rhythmic shaking. It can affect almost any part of the body, but the trembling occurs most often in the hands, especially when doing simple tasks, such as drinking from a glass or tying shoelaces.

I have it and I was wondering how they would deal with it.

Dorm Leaders with an s/o that has Essential Tremors

Riddle is very careful with what he says and does around you. He doesn’t treat you like glass, per se, but because of his impatience, he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings by telling you to hurry up, even though your hand is hella shaky. He’s very patient with you, and is always ready to help you if your shaking gets bad. He wants to look and see if there’s any way magic or something can help you, but he’ll never do it without your permission first.

Leona, with his sharp vision, noticed your tremors immediately. But he never spoke up about them unless you spoke up first. Since you’re his s/o, he really cares, and doesn’t want to come off as rude about it, considering that he has no speech filter. He’s careful around you, and makes sure that if your tremors worsen, you aren’t holding something that can hurt you. He’s definitely willing to carry the smallest of things, even though he puts up a fit about it.

Azul is intrigued, and is actually the first to ask you about it. Considering him being a merman, merpeople anatomy is different from human anatomy, so he’s naturally curious about something he’s never seen before, like your tremors. You’re telling him that it just happens? It’s a disorder you have and you can’t control it? Leave it to him to be the UltimateBoyfriend™️, he’ll carry everything for you, and will only stop if you put your foot down and tell him you’ll be fine, but if you ask, he will deliver.

Kalim, unlike the others so far, is actually oblivious to your disorder until you accidentally drop something and break it. You’re freaking out and apologizing, he’s freaking out because he’s worried you got hurt, and Jamil is watching the chaos unfold with a tied look on his face. He listens attentively to you as you explain what happened, and he totally understands what’s happening now. He’s now extra careful about what you hold because he doesn’t want you to get hurt, but will stop if you feel insulted. He cares so much <3.

Vil notices when he paints your nails for the first time. Normally, you wouldn’t want him to, saying you can do it yourself, but today he felt like pampering you, and it quickly went south. Your hands were shaky, and the nail polish went everywhere, at that point you have to explain why you’re so shaky. Vil’s a bit insulted you didn’t tell him at first, but he ultimately understands the situation. He takes extra care now when he paints your nails, making sure to go slowly so he wouldn’t mess up, and he’s super patient as he listens to you talk about your day, your hands less shaky than normal.

Idia also notices immediately, and is one a one-way train to helping you take care of it. He came up with so many different contraptions to see which ones work best in controlling the shakiness, but you’re not having it. You try at first, to make him feel better, but nothings really vibing with you. Some of them work, and he’s scratching his head as to why you’re so apprehensive to them, which you explain. You’re holding his hands, shaking a bit more now, and you shoot him a grateful smile. Idia.exe has crashed.

Malleus is extremely confused by it. He finally holds your hand for the first time and he feels your hand shaking like a leaf. At first, he’s worried he’s frightened you, but you reassure him that that’s not the case. You explain why you’re shaking, and while he tries to understand, he barely manages to wrap his head around it. He becomes strangely intrigued with you’re shakes, and worries whenever they come and go or worsen, but the more he holds your hands, the more endeared he becomes, because it still means you’re with him.

Ace Trappola

You were always very rude to him, especially when he ran his mouth longer than he should have. Plus, you never covered for him. How could you have this much audacity? To be fair, you were 13. Ouch, you just slapped him for making that comment.

You eventually get closer through the unbirthday parties and bond over some tea. He always pours it for you and makes sure you get some sweets. However, he likes to act as your older brother and doesn’t allow you to have too many sweets. You act like you’re constantly annoyed by him, but you actually are fond of the idea of having a ‘normal’ sibling for once.

When Riddle overblots, his first instinct is to protect you. You, however, had a smirk on your face. It made Ace think that you had seen this coming and were prepared for it. You whispered, “Sebastian, I am here.” The first year was about to ask what you said when a demon appeared out of nowhere and started fighting Riddle.

You sat on a chair, crossing one leg over the other while propping your head up with your arm on the chair’s arm. You had a devious smile on your face, and in the matter of a few seconds the demon was right by your side again and Riddle was on the ground. Ace, trembling, asked the question, “who are you and how did you do that?” to the demon.

You and the demon had similar expressions. He responded with, “I am the butler of the Phantomhive household. These types of things are within my repertoire. I am one hell of a butler after all.” Welp, Ace is now out cold on the ground. Congratulations.

Deuce Spade

Mans would probably ask you for help on his homework. You’ve been in Twisted Wonderland for a very short time and you still knew more about the material than he did. He was struggling for real. You didn’t have a problem with it, as long as he didn’t belittle you for being so young like Tweedle-Dumb (Ace) did often.

You actually become close very quickly. Again, he acts as a very protective older brother. He will make sure that you know your way around, that you have an inhaler on your person, and that you always have your cane to help you around. If anyone makes fun of you for it, he will gladly give them a knuckle sandwich.

When Riddle overblots, he goes to pull you behind him. What he doesn’t notice is that you go back even further, grab a chair, and sit down gracefully as you watch the chaos unfold. If Deuce had looked back, he would have been reminded of a king on his throne by the way you were sitting.

You had a confident smirk as you whispered Sebastian’s name. Said demon emerged out of thin air and greeted you calmly. The entire battle was paused out of pure shock. After serving you a cup of tea, your butler grabbed a few silver utensils off the tables and threw them at the overblotted victim.

Within a few seconds, Riddle was defeated. Sebastian had to introduce himself to everyone, and Deuce was just shocked. Since when have you made a deal with a demon?? You explained that you had made a deal with your current butler so that he would help you find whoever killed your parents in exchange for your soul. A 13 year old had to go through so much? 

Jack Howl

You both didn’t get to really know each other until you figured out that Leona and Ruggie were the ones sabotaging the other teams and getting their star players injured. You brought your suspicions to Jack, and he confirmed them.

Alongside each other, you both worked to spoil the lion and hyena’s plans. However, everything went downhill. Diasomnia was in the lead by a multitude of points, and Savanaclaw was in second place. That pissed Leona off, to say the least.

When Leona overblots, Jack’s first response is to jump in front of you since you had no magic. However, you shook your head in pure amusement and whispered something to yourself. He was about to ask you to repeat yourself when he saw a silhouette in the sky, going straight for his Housewarden.

Once the lion was defeated, Sebastian (the silhouette) introduced himself properly after making a small scene about forgetting his manners. The expression on your face made it seem like this was normal to you, and that was very concerning to Jack. This guy even smelled shady, but you made a deal with him anyway?

From then on, the three of you got closer as a ‘friend’ group. You didn’t really put a label on your unexpected friendship, you were more acquaintances that would call upon each other for help. Plus, you both are the only ones at NRC with common sense, so have fun!

Epel Felmier

You didn’t get the chance to become close, but you both related to each other. You both were constantly called ‘adorable’ and it pissed the both of you off. However, you had a more sophisticated approach, while Epel always solved the problem with his fists.

You are invited to Pomefiore from time to time, so that is how you grew closer to Epel. You were a positive influence on him, deemed so by Vil himself. You knew how to act elegantly and like a person of status, so the Housewarden was glad to have you around. 

When Vil overblots, Epel is scared. He has never witnessed this and had to face it in person. However, you seemed to be confident. In fact, you sat yourself in Vil’s throne and whispered the name Sebastian Michaelis while reaching up and taking off your eye patch. The purple-haired first year is very confused until he sees a figure packing Vil up like he was taking him on vacation.

Within a few moments, Vil was on the ground and the figure was making sure you were alright and unscathed. Epel came over and asked who the heck he was, at which you rolled your eyes and Sebastian ‘smiled’ and gave his classic and iconic introduction. 

You made a deal with a demon?? Oh, hell no. He has seen too many horror movies for this. You, however, being as smart as you are, assured Epel that it was a very fair deal. You only wanted to catch your parents’ killers and Sebastian would get your soul. Like Ace, he faints out of shock.

Sebek Zigvolt

How did Crowley think letting in a literal child was a good idea? Let’s not forget about the fact that you don’t have magic either. You were also sickly. It’s literally the worst case scenario for you. The amount of times you have had shouting matches with each other is unfathomable.

He is that annoying older sibling who leaves the door open, and you can’t tell me any differently. He acts like he’s the boss simply because he’s older, until he realizes that your wit rivals even Malleus’s. Even Lilia has a hard time competing against you. That’s when it clicks: maybe you weren’t totally horrible…

When Leona overblotted, he was there on the field with everyone else. He spotted you standing still in the midst of people much bigger than you running past you. You took a seat on a nearby bench that was on the field and whispered something. The half-fae was too far away to hear what you had said, but he can see the smirk you had.

Within a few moments, Leona was brought to his knees and a man dressed in a suit was standing above the overblot victim. Sebek was just shocked. Then, you called out to the man (who he now learned is Sebastian) and you talked to him as though he were an employee.

Sebek walked over and asked who or what the guy standing next to you was. After Sebastian’s magnificent introduction, you explained that he was a demon that you had employed under a Faustian contract. You even removed your eye patch to show the mark. The poor crocodile was on the verge of fainting.

Riddle, Trey, Ace and Deuce are frantically speaking English and trying to understand Azul, Jade and Floyd, who were speaking back in Danish.

Ruggie and Leona are just watching everything unfold and talking in Swahil (Lowkey taking advantage that one one understands them to talk sht).

Idia gave up completely since he knew no one would understand him, he spoke Ancient Greek.

Malleus, Lilia, Silver, and Sebek are amused by the situation and talking among themselves in a mixture of medieval French and Russian.

Rook and Ortho were the only two people who understood everyone and were the main translators that day.

Sam has a sweet spot for Ruggie to the point where he’ll just give him stuff for a cheap price without Ruggie knowing.

Yuu introduced UNO to the twst boys and had a game night at Ramshackle dorm. It went just as you expected (friendships destroyed, dignity gone)

Also Yuu introduced Monopoly and of course, Azul won most of the games.

Now every time they play Monopoly, everyone gangs up on Azul (he still somehow wins tho???)

Speaking of Azul, while in his Octo form, Azul is actually colorblind and can only see Black/White

Same with the twins, they can only really see color thats green-ish

When they first came to land in their human forms, boy were they shocked to see so many different colors, it was Lowkey a little overwhelming.

Seeing each other in their true colors was a wholesome moment tho.

Also the twins have SHIT eyesight in their eel form. On land they’re fine but in the ocean? Blinder than a bat.

Since Ruggie is a hyena-type beastmen, that means his bite strength is STRONG, stronger than anyone else’s. Everyone in the Savanaclaw dorm knows this which is why they don’t really mess with him but it’s not really common knowledge around the school.

One time Ortho gave Ruggie a Jawbreaker and he was able to bite into it casually. Everyone was shocked to say the least.

Deuce is REALLY good at rhythm games. Idia played some with him once and he was able to pass most songs on extreme mode.

Malleus’s horns are VERY sensitive. Also the tip of his tail wags up and down when he’s angry, kind of like a cats. But since his tail is HEAVY, he ends up leaving cracks on the floor, poor guy

Silver has slept on everyone’s shoulder/lap at least once. Yes even the professors, don’t ask how

he developed a (name) radar due to your loud voice and presence, which in his case is very helpful because it allows the lion to hide from you whenever you want to bother him.

Hello Draft, I wonder what's the boy's reaction be like when they meet Mew, who is visiting Soni. I also wonder if Mew will also prank Crowley.

Ooooh

The first thing that Soni would do is contemplate the idea of possibly saying something about the Legendary, but decide against it because it'd be funnier that way (also because Mew can bully Crowley lol). Mew is very happy about the fact that it can prank people and goes off to find its victims as it does.

The first amongst its victims would be the ADeuce Duo with the Pokemon stealing snacks from one of the boys and the both of them fight over it. Happiny's sitting there eating snacks and Mew takes one while invisible, which makes Happiny wonder what was going on as the cookie seemed to disappear into thin air. It causes chaos in the Heartslabyul Dorm due to being invisible as well as shifting into one of the other Pokemon roaming around.

Savanaclaw isn't free from the pranks either, Leona being targeted on sight as the lazy lion naps in the shade. Mew plays around with their ears in curiosity than pranking and occasionally swats their tails with its own to see what happens. Leons wakes up many times, thinking that it was his nephew sneaking into NRC or something, but that wasn't the case and he's pretty annoyed.

I see Mew avoiding the Tweels as they were pretty sharp and perceptive, thus not prime pranking material to the Pokemon. Mew would do little pranks to Azul, which make him think someone somehow snuck into his office while he was away when they simply turned invisible and hid there. Pens go missing, scarfs are put in places, and his hat from his coat stand to his sofa where Sobble was sleeping. The last one was because Sobble wanted to try on Azul's hat and Mew helped the Pokemon, so it wasn't a prank per say. Azul takes a photo of the cuteness and just thinks Sobble's playing around.

Kalim would be easy to trick for Mew and Kalim genuinely thinks that he misplaced things. It's an often enough occurrence that Jamil doesn't think twice about it and wonders why the food was disappearing from the pot until he sees Kalim eating the food. In the back, Mew is sneaking bites of the tasty food and just loving the fancy palace vibes that the dorm emits.

It was tricky to go into Pomefiore with Rook around, but even then, Mew manages to sneak inside with the help of the Pokemon around that were hiding around the place, disguising itself as one of them. Mew pokes around the beauty products, mostly because they looked pretty and thought that they were fancy toys. Bidoof and Mew play for a time before the Pokemon moved things from place to place like Azul. Vil thinks it was Bidoof. Vil has had experiences where Bidoof takes out objects for Vil to try on for fun and to see him with them.

Ortho almost catches Mew with his sensors, but Mew dodges the boy with ease. One can never catch Mew, but that all ended with Lilia being able to spot the Pokemon. However, Lilia joins in on the pranking and they prank Silver and Sebek who were at Ramshackle for the daily Swanna screaming match.

Soni just watches the chaos unfold and thinks, "This is fine."

Now Crowley was a special case. Mew heard about the things the man did and pulled on Soni from the other Pokemon and from what the Pokemon heard from the other students. Thus the pranks towards him were more mean-spirited than the other ones.

Crowley's credit card went missing, which sent the man in a panic. Next, his lunch, a delicious sandwich from that bakery/shop that sells things once a month from Episode 2, went poof with crumbs, and his drink all consumed. Finally, his hat was stolen away and put at the base of where Swanna lived, which was going to be a hell in and of itself to try and retrieve. For extra flavor and chaos, Mew transforms into a Swanna and the original Swanna joins in because anyone who wants to beat up the crow man was an ally in its book!

Croagunk arrives just in time and Mew escapes in the ensuing chaos with the two rivals duking it out over the exhausted body of the Headmaster. In the end, Mew gets scratches on its head and cuddles from Soni who loves the Pokemon for causing trouble without causing enough for her to get involved.

Epel’s aspirations to be a young, dependable man can be noted as a lofty goal, a value many saw as impossible due to his short stature and effeminate features. However, these limitations didn’t quell the fire burning in Epel’s little body; rather, it fueled more motivation to prove everyone wrong. He’ll do everything in his power to work hard and have everyone acknowledge him as capable as a student and as a man.

The day when Epel would prove his worth was when a Magishift club skirmish had gone wrong. [Reader] and Grim were helping the club members practice maneuvers and stratagems when a disc had toppled [Reader] from their perch. The creature barely held on to the groom, but the Ramshackle prefect was not as unfortunate, falling from a high height.

With quick reflexes, Epel ascends to the skies, his small body providing extra benefit to the increasing velocity of the broom. He hopes he’ll make it to [Reader]. “Just a little more.” He prays, extending his arms out to catch them. Suddenly, a heavy weight nearly topples him off-balance. “Whoa!” [Reader] exclaims in his arms. Epel could barely make a grunt when he asks, “[reader], are you alright?!”

“I’m fine!” They respond, tightening their grip onto Epel as he tries to descend to the pasture below. Most of the Magishift team had gone down to check for injuries, while Leona and Ruggie watched for Epel as he made his descent. “Quite the catch there, herbivore.” Leona growls in greeting as Ruggie snickers. “Didn’t know you’ve had the strength to carry someone in midair, but nice catch!”

A red blush tinges Epel’s cheeks at the banter, but he quickly apologizes to [Reader] who then dismantles from him. For a moment, Epel was grateful for those days helping his family with the farm, years and years of strength befitting of this moment. Had he become a man after this? Not yet, he stipulates. Yet, he spares a quick glance to [Reader], their unscathed form flashing smiles to the other club members.

Just as the young man was about to go help his superiors, a gentle tap on his shoulder startles him. “Thank you, Epel, for saving me from a scary fall.” [Reader] smiles sweetly at him, a grateful smile that almost outshines Kalim’s smile for a brief moment. “O-o-oh no, it’s no big deal.” The first year flusters, his cheeks scarlet from the gratitude. “No, really. I was terrified. I honestly thought I was going to die at this moment. But, thanks to you, I’m here in one piece. Thank you, Epel.”

A smile from [Reader] was enough to cause a stir within the young man - He could only fathom a shy smile to them. “Not a problem, [reader].. I just saved you, that’s all..”

“Come on, you practically caught me mid-fall there, give yourself some credit! You even carried me down here too!” [reader] chuckles lightly. “Hey, pipsqueak. Just take the compliment. You’ve proven yourself out there, and I’m sure your superiors in Pomefiore would be more than happy to hear your little story when you return to your dorm tonight.” Leona grumbles, gesturing the first year to Ruggie for injuries.

“No! Don’t tell Vil or Rook about this!” Epel panics. “Oh, they’ll find out, alright.” The third year scoffs, leaving the first year scrambling to his senses as he follows the second year to the infirmary.

Riddle was always a stickler for rules, even if it affected his daily life. The Red Queen always enforced the rules, all in the matter of order, and it was Riddle’s responsibility to enforce them. One had to ensure that all rules were followed as the Dorm Head, lest the whole dormitory would be in chaos. The responsibility was heavy, but he could manage..

The day when these rules were challenged had been the day Riddle feared the most - this meant that he had no way of controlling the situation as a Dorm Leader or as a student. The chaos that unfolded was a pandemonium of Heartslabyul residents questioning the purpose of the dorm’s numerous rules. Sure, a few students had forgotten a few rules here and there, even Trey had his fair share of forgetting, but to outright question such rules were treason.. With more students questioning the very foundation of the dormitory, it became clear that the students were losing sight of their own sense of “order”. The second-year tried to lend his aid to the students struggling for their sense of “order”; however, it became evident that this was beyond his control.

“Burnout” was perhaps the more appropriate element to label this phenomenon, an aspect Riddle wasn’t too familiar with but had encountered at least once or twice in his lifetime. With the advice of others (mainly Cater and Trey), Riddle consented to allow a break for the Heartslabyul residents, a day when they can follow the rules of the dorm whenever they wished. This proposal came from Cater, an idea Riddle thought preposterous out of all the suggestions he had consented to from the two in the past. However, this meant for the good of the dorm and as a means to aid the students’ in their journey of reason. Yet, he would be one of the few who would still continue the numerous regiments.

Maybe I was too harsh on them, the second year fretted as he continued his day, following all the rules imposed in the dorm. Had he said something that offended them? An inquiry worth pondering… “Oh, excuse me!” A familiar voice anchors him back to reality when he had bumped into someone. “Oh, my apologies!” He frets once more, quickly picking up fallen books and pages from the floor. “I should’ve paid more attention to where I was going.” “Oh no, oh no! I was carrying more than usual. Don’t worry about it!” [Reader] counters, gathering their materials in their end. The pair tidy up, eventually splitting half of the burden. Was there a rule concerning this? Riddle noted as he helped his fellow student.

Perhaps there was since the rules were meant to be followed anyway. “Thanks for the help, Riddle. I appreciate it.” [Reader] bids as they place the materials in the library. “Not a problem. Are these study materials for Trein’s upcoming exam?” [Reader] nods. “If there is anything I could help you with, let me know.” What the dorm leader had proposed was a tutoring service, a tangible notion to compensate for his clumsiness earlier. Rule no. 239: ‘If one were to bump to someone, one must compensate their action by acting more formerly.”

The thin line between acting formerly in front of [Reader] seemed odd, in fact, the Ramshackle student was knowledgeable about Riddle, and it would be strange if he were to engage in a more formal, stiff manner. Yet, if he were a different Heartslabyul student instead of a Dorm Leader, punishment would be immediately imposed with no question. Riddle considered [Reader] a good friend, but would he be willing to break out from the norms of Heartslabyul just to ensure their friendship?

Needless to say, the response [Reader] gave him was a gentle smile that fluttered his heart. “Thank you, Riddle!” Just when did he foster feelings for [Reader]? What an unexpected turn of events.

Trey has had his fair share of moments when he invests more time baking goods than watching over the Heartslabyul students, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he was being negligent. On the contrary, Riddle and Cater would have the students under control while he just watched him proceed to the rules. He didn’t mind students coming to him for help or as a proxy between them and Riddle - in fact, he didn’t mind the unofficial job anyway. As a third-year, being an advisor or a trustworthy figure was associated based on seniority.

The third-year was quite used to the numerous students coming to him, yet he was not the type to get thoroughly annoyed by this. There were a few times when his advice didn’t exactly click with the students, mostly due to the fact that his analogies of cake and reality were a bit off base. These analogies weren’t exactly wrong, but it was how he managed to learn and ascertain logic to some degree. Whenever the student couldn’t understand, Trey could refer them to Cater or Riddle for a brief explanation of the topic at hand. It was easier to have someone else to talk to them rather than having to clarify what he meant.

The others didn’t mean this at all, since each person would compensate their weaknesses with their counterpart’s strengths, quite befitting and complementary for the trio as the Heartslabyul superiors and leader.

Yet, with significant relationships and friendships, it would seem that Trey’s understanding of such would not easily translate to baking analogies and anecdotes. On the contrary, this meant he’d have to take different approaches to these moments and act accordingly. Things were not meant to be simple in the first place, huh? He grumbles to himself. Patience is key, a notion he heard too much. Alas, what could that possibly mean when dealing with people?

Upon a thought, Trey pursued a significant endeavor: invest more time in his relationships. He had been meaning to get along with [reader], but he didn’t know what else he could do with them in terms of forwarding the relationship.. Maybe baking more cakes? No, he probably overbaked a lot.. What else could he do?

Such a question prompted the summoning of Cater and Riddle who were more than willing to help him with this predicament. The both of them suggested he should ask [Reader] for time away, perhaps a stroll around the courtyard after classes for a little hangout. The third-year hoped he was doing this right with the hangout - nothing too fancy or anything, but the time between friends was a luxury after all. It was the least he could do with [reader] - besides, he couldn’t fight the yearning to see them again every time he saw them.

On the day of their hangout, Trey found himself enjoying their time together, a rarity since he preferred to be in the kitchen working and refining recipes for his family bakery. He genuinely showed interest to [Reader]’s conversations and often bantered with them.. How long ago since he had done the sort of thing? As Cater had put it, Trey just needed that fine “balance” between school, baking, and social life in general - as a third year, it was very important to have that balance, especially when he’d have more opportunities out there in the future.

With that in mind, Trey cherished his time with [reader], smiling in a carefree manner and eventually fostering more friendships and relationships.

Ruggie once came up with a plan to get infinite donuts via Trey.

He only knew three things:

- Trey is a great baker;

- He is always baking treats for Heartslabyul, ESPECIALLY Riddle;

- Riddle likes sweets.

So, the Hyena organized a joint study session between Savanaclaw and Heartslabyul, which is great already because they get Riddle's help (as well as unique magic to break up fights).

Also Leona's seasonal depression kicked in on top of his regular scheduled depression, so having the funny idiots of Heartslabyul and Ramshackle fooling around at least helps a bit. He is just watching the chaos unfold while helping with a few questions.

Back to Ruggie's plan, it's very simple! After studying, he uses Leona's credit card to order a ton of donuts. And everybody will like them because it's DONUTS, easy peasy, just wait for Trey to start baking due to popular demand.

It worked.

But now he and Savanaclaw are ready to kill for Riddle (he smiled, they didn't think he could even do that, also Ace was like "bet" and brought a few hedgehogs, which means only more happy Riddle, decorating the donuts to look like hedgehogs).

It was as if Kalim had temporarily possessed the housewarden. The rules of the Universe changed. It was Spectral Soiree all over again.

Riddle’s strict and curt voice cut Kalim’s rant for good. Yet, it seemed that any of the dorm leaders, apart from him and eventually Azul, was truly interested in the meeting. 

,,I think I may have a nice pair of heels.”

“Perhaps, a little contract would be an appropriate solution?”

Azul ignored Vil’s previous suggestion and his attention shifted from dull paperwork he had been doing to Kalim. His sultry voice made Kalim turn around to face him and almost urging him to continue. Azul adjusted his glasses, before speaking again. 

,,Well, I’m sure I could make you a tad taller, or Y/N smaller, unless Silver is your true problem?”

Kalim frowned, not really sure how to properly respond. He caught a glimpse of displeased Riddle who sighed in frustration, knowing very well that the meeting was surely over and they wouldn’t get anything done by the end of it. 

You, Kalim and Silver were a rather specific couple, no one truly expected to work out. The differences in your personalities very present, yet this time your height was the reason for Kalim’s chagrin.

Or maybe it was Silver’s height?

Maybe both.

You were slightly taller than Silver, maybe few centimetres. Yet, those few centimetres were more than enough to drive usually cheerful and beaming with happiness Kalim insane. Silver could easily reach your lips and steal brief kisses anytime he wished for them. Kalim had to tug on your tie or ask you to lean a bit down. 

Normally, he didn’t have any problems with your height, after all, he loved you the way you were. But recently Silver got bolder and Kalim could see him sneaking kisses from you. 

Kalim had enough. 

,,Speaking of Y/N and Silver, where’s Malleus?”

Kindly remarked Idia who usually was almost transparent on those meetings. Leona snorted in annoyance, just on the mere mention of dragon fae. 

,,K, so which one of you potatoes forgot to tell him?”

Vil’s voice, much to Azul’s discontent who was already taking out his golden contract, started another heated argument as everyone tried to put the blame on someone else. 

,,Wasn’t it your turn Vil?”

,,Absolutely not, I’m fourth in the queue. It was Riddle’s turn to invite Malleus this time, I presume.”

“WHAT, NO WAY IT WAS MY TURN!”

“SHUT UP RED POTATO AND TAKE CRITICISM!”

“YOU DID NOT JUST-”

Kalim could only watch as the chaos before him unfolding. Riddle’s shouts woke up Leona for good who joined the heated argument dragging Azul with him into it.

He sighed deeply in resignation, knowing deep down inside that his problem wouldn’t be solved anytime soon.

,,Little bird told me that you considered making a deal with Azul concerning the height of one of us.”

Your voice made Kalim sign slightly, Silver chuckle and Jamil throw his hands in the air in pure helplessness. If it wasn’t for your presence and Silver’s subtle glare, which you called “I’m the intimidating Diasomnia, move away”, Jamil would be spitting insults and trying to reason Kalim’s idea in rather harsh and loud way. Instead he simply left you three to deal with this matter.

,,I mean, I could perhaps get smaller...” You started, while Silver raised an eyebrow surprised with your statement.

,,No, no, no, you’re not a problem Y/N. You are absolutely perfect.”

Kalim was quick to vividly protest. 

You, a problem? Never, absolutely never.

,,So, you suggest that I’m the problem?”

Silver asked smoothly and it was your time to vividly protest. However, Kalim’s answer stunned you. He avoided looking into your eyes at all cost, as his attention drastically shifted from various plants he could see in the garden.

,,I mean, actually, YES”

Silver didn’t seem to be surprised in slightest. He just sighed heavily, as his hands began gently running through your hair. 

,,It’s just-agh-how to say it... I just hate it than Silver can steal kisses from you anytime he wants and I’m too short for that!”

You blinked twice in surprise, fully comprehending his words. Soon a smile crept on your lips, while Silver looked clearly amused at Kalim who was regretting his confession. 

He was simply jealous and both you and Silver would never let him forget about it. With a giggle you sat at the grass and boys followed you. You leaned closer to Kalim’s flushed face, your lips almost touching his.

,,I’m flattered you wanted to make a contract with Azul just because you were jealous of Silver”

,,W-what?! I, I was never, EVER, jealous of him!”

His faltering words and flushed voice made you giggled and Silver couldn’t help but burst in laughter. 

Yeah, sure, he wasn’t jealous at all. 

Not even in the slightest. 

,,Well, I believe now you can steal as many kisses as you want.”

You encouraged him with a sly smile, while Kalim’s face lit up at your words. His soft lips soon crashed onto yours, determinated to give you as many kisses as Silver had gave during past week.

,,You could just take a box and surprise our dear Y/N, you know shortass?”

You blinked stunned, hearing his words as his hands quickly took care of a mess called your poor, unfortunate tie. With a faint smile you thanked him.

Let the Rescue Mission begin!

Finished writing the Yoru crashes the Ghost Marriage story, her and Ortho are going to fuck shit up, no one marries Idia on their watch. What did they blow up? Probably Crowley tbh. Also remind me to never draw Ortho again, 11/10 regrets.

I tried to make it fit along with the regular story as best I could, so I used some of the text from @kibadreams​ translation of it! (Go check out the translations if you haven’t already, and leave a tip if you can :D) All translation text I’ve used I’ve got in italics, final word count is 1900! Full story under the cut.

Crowley gestured grandly at the students gathered around him, “A friend's life is in danger. And I know the wonderfully kind students here will save Shroud-kun……” He wilted with the resounding chorus of no’s he’d received in response.

“What, why? You've gotta help me!” Ortho said, rejected and hurt that no one was willing to help his brother.

Vil sighed and shrugged, looking at Ortho with pity ”He's always avoiding people, and only appears when there's a problem to be solved. You're asking too much.”

”This is your "brother's" problem. Do something about it yourself.” Leona drawled, not willing to help either. 

Ortho sighed, dejected. ”….. I see. Fine, ugh. I'll be okay by myself. Simulating: Idia Shroud recovery pattern. Condition: prioritize speed of rescue operation. …..Simulated operation successful. Now executing actual operation. Now loading dark magic. Target locked: Set on Nightraven College, Main Building. Time until dark magic beam fire: 5 seconds. 4…...3…....2….....”

”STOP THIS AT ONCE------!” Crowley said, shocked that young Ortho would go to such lengths “You actually intend to blow our school, with hundreds of years of tradition, into smithereens? Dark magic beams are forbidden!” He shook his head

”...Well no one was prepared to help, so this is all I could do.” Ortho said, downtrodden that his only solution had been denied.

Yoru dropped from the sky into the students' midst, to a chorus of “what the...?” from everyone who hadn’t met or seen her before. 

“Boooooo, you all suck” she said to the group at large, she looked at Ortho “I’ll help you get Idia back, don’t worry.” 

“Thank you Yoru-san! Together we will save Nii-san!” 

“You could still blow up the school though if you want, might be fun” Yoru laughed, grinning at Crowley

“Hey now…” Crowley started before Leona butted in 

“Who the hell is this, anyway?” he asked, jutting his thumb towards her.

“Ahhh Yoru-san, it seems you were watching the whole thing?” Azul asked, hand on his chin in contemplation “that unique magic of yours does seem to be very handy…”

“Yea. Ortho, maybe you should threaten to destroy his shitty Octopus lounge too and he’d help” Ortho giggled “Anyways, let's get out of here, these useless guys can’t do anything anyway”. She grabbed Ortho under the arms and flew away from the group as quickly as she came. 

“Excuse me, would someone please explain why there is a feral woman with wings on campus?” Vil said, clearly annoyed.

“Ahhh, my apologies” Crowley batted his hand at them “That is my daughter, she is… uhh...spirited, to say the least”

“You look pretty proud though” Leona chuckled, looking at the puffed up and smiling Crowley

“Well you know… fathers and their daughters… anyways, back to the task. We can’t leave it up to my sweet and cute daughter to save Shroud-kun, Operation “guilt trip them is underway!” He said, straightening his jacket

“Did he just say… operation guilt trip?” Ace muttered under his breath

“Ah, here's one now! A Nightraven College student!" Crowley said getting in Ace’s face with a make believe microphone

Ace jumped back from him, confused “Wha- what are you doing all of a sudden?”

Crowley, undeterred, continued to push his fake microphone into his face "I'm a reporter from TBC News! You are a student of Nightraven College, yes?!"

“Whaaat is happening?” Ace asked, looking around at his classmates

“K Ortho, how do you want to do this? I saw what happened, but I don’t think I’ll be able to fight a ghost” Yoru sat across from him in the tree she’d flown them to. 

“Well I can blow up the school but…” he paused

“It might be a bit of an overkill” They said together, laughing

“What sort of specs do you have in that body of yours? Anything that can destroy a ghost?”

“No, if I did I’d have saved Nii-san by now” Ortho said sadly

“Well, that’s alright” Yoru replied, patting him on the shoulder “I can see where they are, but we’ll need a distraction to get him out of there...and we’ll need something that we can actually hit them with”

“So we gotta go to Sams Mystery Shop!” Ortho said, excited to start the rescue plan

“Eventually... the idiot party has moved in front of his shop and I’d rather avoid them, I don’t really like being seen around campus” She grimaced

“But what about Nii-san! We need to save him right now!” Ortho stood, indignant that Yoru wasn’t wanting to jump to action immediately.

“Ortho, it’s okay. I’ve got eyes on Idia, and eyes on the shop, we can go once everyone has moved on, they’re planning on helping after all. Dad must have guilted them good” She laughed and stuck her tongue out at Ortho, he was reassured and sat back down in the tree. 

They stayed in the tree, making plans and discussing how to fight ghosts. Eventually Yoru saw through the crows that the last group of students had left the shop, and she signaled to Ortho that it was time to go.

“Ahhh more little devils have come to visit my shop! Anything you need is IN STOCK NOW!” Sam said jovially when they walked through the door

“Hey Sam, we need something to repel ghosts” Yoru said with no preamble or pleasantries 

“Another devil wanting to fight ghosts! Lucky for you, I always make sure to have some extra goodies for my favourite little demon!” He teased her, patting her on the head. She swatted his hand away

“Haha” She said flatly “I don’t want to marry the crappy ghost bride, I want to destroy her for kidnapping my friend” Ortho furiously nodded behind her. 

“Haha what funny little demons you are! Let me know how it goes, I do love hearing stories from the dead” He handed them a small torch and grinned at them. “This will attract the ghosts and they’ll be temporarily frozen in place. Remember to use it, your feet will be of no use to you in this fight” he smiled.  

“Okay Ortho. They’ve moved Idia to the cafeteria, if we go in through one of the windows do you think you can sneak up to him and grab him while I cause a diversion? ”

“Yup! Don’t doubt me when Nii-san is concerned! He’s in danger so I’ll do anything to save him!” 

“You’re a good kid, Ortho. Lets go get your brother back” She grinned and grabbed him in her feet, speeding off towards the great hall. 

The sounds of slaps rung through the hall, Yoru had to suppress her laughter from where she hid in the window with Ortho. This was too good to ruin, Idia could wait a few more moments. The look on Azul’s face was particularly satisfying after his initial refusal to help.  

“We should use the others as a diversion, when they come to attempt to propose to the princess we’ll grab Idia and get out of here” She whispered to him, keeping a close eye on the ghosts. “Shouldn’t be long now…”

“But Yoru, they’re all chanting Kiss! Kiss! Nii-san is going to be taken away to the land of the dead!” Ortho whispered, getting more upset by the minute.

“It’s not quite time yet, Ortho, please believe in me! I’m not going to let anything bad happen to Idia” Yoru reassured him, patting him on the shoulder again. 

There was a ruckus outside the cafeteria, the guards left to protect the princess from the new would be suitors. “It’s time, Ortho, let's go” Yoru said, dropping down to the center of the cafeteria in a flurry of feathers and fury. 

“Ehhh? Fugu-chan you came to fight a ghost?” Floyd laughed, surprised, grinning at the chaos. 

Eliza screeched for her guards, how DARE a commoner attack her! At her own wedding, no less! She stood back as her ghostly consort moved to protect her from Yoru’s furious attacks. 

“I’m not letting you marry Idia you shitty ghost!” she shouted, flying at Eliza

“Ah, it is almost midnight…. Finally, the time to seal our vows with a kiss!.. Get out of my way you terrible bird girl!” Eliza tried to get passed Yoru to where she could reach Idia.

“Heeeeeeeh is Fugu-chan jealous that Hataruika-senpai is going to marry the ghost?” Floyd pouted from where he stood, frozen

“Fufufu, I don’t think Yoru-san is the jealous one here…” Jade muttered with a smile on his face, looking at his brother

“Ah it seems there is at least some entertainment at this wedding” Lilia chuckled, clearly enjoying the drama as it unfolded. 

None of Yoru’s attacks were having any effect, but the ghosts were weary of the torch she still held in her hand, it could cause them problems if they were caught with it... if she actually remembered to use it. Yoru had so far managed to avoid being slapped, but she was losing. The torch provided her some extra leeway, but there were too many ghosts for her to handle without getting caught and slapped like the rest of them. The doors to the cafeteria slammed open, help had arrived.

“HOLD IT RIGHT THERE WITH THE WEDDING—-!!!!”

The ghosts that were occupied with Yoru turned their attention from her and towards Ace, framed in the doorway. She used the distraction to fly towards Idia, where Ortho was slowly dragging him towards the windows. 

“Yoru help! He can’t move and he’s hard to move like this!” Ortho struggled, trying to lift him

“Time for your dramatic manga rescue” Yoru teased Idia as she grabbed his arms in her feet, scooping Ortho under the arms, and flew them out the window. 

“Does she always enter and leave so dramatically?” Cater sighed, secretly wishing he could master the art of a flashy entrance to the same degree. 

“I’m impressed she didn’t get slapped” Lilia pouted, still playing up his injury like it actually hurt.

“Yoru! Do you think you can c-carry us both?” Idia stuttered, swaying in the air from where he was hanging from her feet. 

“I don’t need to carry Ortho, he can float down, I’ve just gotta carry you. I only needed to grab him long enough to get out of the school”. She let go of Ortho, who was happy to float along beside them

“EEEEaaaaaaahhhhhh this isn’t the rescue I’d dreamt oooooffffffffff!!” Idia screamed as they flew towards the mirror chamber, him swinging precariously in her talons. Ortho giggled, glad to have his brother back. 

“Okay, make sure to not get kidnapped by any more ghosts” Yoru laughed as they landed in the mirror chamber, in front of the passage back to Ignihyde. 

“I-I didn’t want to b-be kidnapped in the f-first place!” He stuttered, clearly still shaken at the day's events.

“Ahahahahahah, you almost married a ghost! Luckily we came to your rescue like valiant… uhhh… knights? That normally… save the kidnapped princess?” Yoru poked fun at him “I don’t know what happens in the manga you like to read” She laughed as he sputtered and tried to think of something to protest with

“Yea Nii-san! The princess has to kiss the hero that saves them at the end!” Ortho giggled, looking between them

They both paused, awkwardly staring at each other for a few moments

“...No. Absolutely not. Nu-uh. Nope.” They both said shaking their heads, in perfect unison.

The Counsellor: Sunday

Jakurai woke up with a headache, his head pulsing and his body heavy. He didn’t feel too good, but at least it was better than usually. Maybe he got better when it came to the alcohol thing?

His eyes wandered around before he noticed that he still wore the clothes from the day before, just without his shoes.

For some reason, he didn’t see them anywhere, but there was a pair that was unfamiliar to him. Did any of the teachers leave them for him? If they did, he would have to thank them later.

The man with lavender coloured hair got up slowly, hearing his body crack slightly. Alright, maybe it wouldn’t be a good idea to drink again anytime soon.

Blue orbs wandered to the clock. It was 9 AM. If it were a day during the week, he wouldn’t have let that happen. It was not the case though, so he was a bit more relaxed. Unlike the others though, he still was working during the weekends. A nurse was always needed, for there were always students who caused some fights or got into trouble with some of the others.

His services were also available during the weekends, for he enjoyed the company of the students as well. All of them were quite interesting, each of them having their own troubles and worries.

Riddle and Leona weren’t his only confidants. Cater Diamond was one of the people who tended to visit him, even if he did it under the guise of just wanting to talk to someone who seemed to be so mysterious. Most of the time, they talked about trivial things, but sometimes he was able to catch a glimpse of insecurity and worry.

So far though, the orange haired young man was not willing to open up to him when it came to his problem. He won’t force him to, but he hoped that he would trust him enough at one point to talk to him about these matters. Another person who sometimes visited him was a Pomefiore student with the name of Epel Felmier. A student from the countryside whose rather innocent and feminine appearance was rather deceiving, for he was rather direct and rough. It did remind him of a certain pinkette he knew, but in a completely different way.

No, there were obvious differences between them. Ramuda Amemura hid behind a cute facade because he deliberately wanted to hide things. The pink haired man who was once his partner… no Epel did not resemble him in any way except for the fact that they behaved differently when in the eyes of the public.

But that was not the point.

Epel mostly came to him to let loose and talk about how he hated being a Pomefior student, and how he would rather be in Savanaclaw. How the mirror must have made a mistake, and how he would rather have been in any other dorm but that. Sadly, he couldn't offer him much help with a person who was not willing to come to him, but he decided to give him help in another form, by showing him some methods of self defense.

Jakurai was very aware of how provocative the students were, and how it seems as if violence wasn’t that unusual.

The young man appreciated his advice and the things he showed him to the point that he started to call him sensei.

That made him smile sincerely, for it reminded him of how Hifumi and Doppo tended to call him that.

It also reminded him of Yotsutsuji. He was an orphan who he took under his care, and who was like a son to him. A man who got hurt because of him.

There was no that he could change that happened in the past though. He had to look at the future and try not to repeat the mistakes he did in his past.

When he entered the infirmary, there already were a couple of students who looked at him with curiosity. Some bad looking wounds were on their body, but it was nothing that couldn’t be treated easily.

Some students have been treated by him already. It actually happened on the day he has been introduced as the new nurse and counsellor.

Somehow, a few students were already arguing about one thing or the other, which led to a fight involving magic. The wounds were more serious than the usual ones, which was why he had to use his ability already.

Looks of surprise were on him, and they started to bombard him with questions. Of course, he couldn’t tell them that it wasn’t magic, so he simply told them, that it was something he could not talk about. Of course they were not satisfied by that answer, but they couldn’t force him to tell them, which was why they let that go.

Still, it led to some students hurting themselves deliberately because they wanted to see his magic.

Jakurai asked them how these injuries came to be, which has been answered with honesty.

They were Heartslabyul students who picked a fight with members of the Savanaclaw dorm. The doctor looked at them with eyes which had a hint of disappointment. There was a hint of guilt on their faces, and they promised him that they would try their best to stay out of trouble in the future. With that, he smiled and pulled out his microphone. It was plain, its appearance was nothing spectacular.

When a soft glow appeared though, it turned into a ribbon microphone with wings and a stand. It was decorated with a snake and an IV drip.

Behind him, his speaker appeared. It was a stylised cross with multiple smaller round speakers surrounding the cross. The golden shine of the cross gave him an ethereal look.

With that, he started to rap. His verses were gentle, his voice deep and smooth as he rapped, slowly healing the wounds of the students like that. It took a slight toll on him, but it was nothing that he had to worry about. Normally, he didn’t have to use his ability too often, for most injuries were easily treatable with bandages or other mundane methods.

Only situations like these really required the use of his mic, and even then, most of the time there were other treatments available.

When he was done, the students bowed and thanked him several times with looks of awes on their faces.

Amongst some of the students, he already had the title of angle or saint, depending on the person one talked to. If the tall man were to catch wind of that, he would get a sense of deja vu, but so far, he didn’t.

After they were done thanking him, he simply smiled and waved, showing them that it was not necessary to thank him for doing his job. That didn’t stop them of course.

Several minutes passed, and they were gone, continuing their day.

His microphone returned back to its normal form, and the speakers disappeared as well.

A person who was now in his infirmary was Divus, his arms were crossed as he looked at Jakurai with a look he couldn’t read.

“It seems like you are doing fine again.”

At that, the doctor raised an eyebrow before he nodded. Wasn’t he supposed to?

When it seemed as if the man with lavender coloured hair had nothing else to say, he sighed.

The night before was a nightmare.

An absolute nightmare of lavender coloured hair, and a flow of seemingly never ending alcohol. Bottles were flying, glasses were flying and even pieces of clothes were discarded at some point.

They had no choice but to watch the disaster unfold. Ashton was laughing, enjoying how ‘energetic’ Jakurai was in comparison to his usual self, while Trein seemed as if he tried to melt into the background, hoping that the drunk man would forget that he was present as well.

If the students were to see the usually composed man like that, they wouldn’t believe that they really were the usually calm and kind counsellor.

And how many glasses did he drink?

One.

Not one glass, one sip. One sip was enough to put him into that state. It was as if they opened Pandora’s box, releasing all of the hidden sides of the man they knew for around a month now.

How were they supposed to know that things would turn out like that? Really, if Divus had known, he would never have suggested the invitation in the first place.

“Well, if you are in need of aspirins, you should find them here. That’s all I wanted to say. When you are done, let’s meet up at my office.”

With these words, he left again. Despite the chaos and the headaches the doctor brought him, he enjoyed the other’s company greatly when he was sober, which he was most of the time, luckily.

He even enjoyed it even to the point at which he was wondering what exactly it was he was feeling for him.

Talking to him was always refreshing, for he showed his interest for alchemy openly. Despite the fact that he had no prior experience, he was quick to catch up after he lent him some books and his mind was brilliant enough to come up with things he never considered before. Jakurai was generally a very pleasant man to be around.

Ah, maybe he was looking too deep into it. It was probably nothing more than appreciation for a person he could tolerate. With that thought, he continued on with his day.
